Filtering and sorting Dynamic CMS Items

I am trying to filter and sort cms items with Mixitup library but I don’t manage to do it. I’d like to filter the titles by movies or series. How can I do that ? Then I will add more filters (year, genre, etc.)

I’m following this tutorial from @sabanna
http://mixitup-webflow-tutorial.webflow.io/dynamix

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

Hi, @sylvainn!

The first thing to fix would be the container reference

The class name on the div with the content you want to filter and the class name in the code are not identical.

Thank you @sabanna
It works perfectly now!
I will try drop down and sort out filters now.

Is it possible to apply filtering and sorting with an infinite scroll pagination ?

Do I need the premium mixitup pagination plugin?
I’m using a separate plugin for the infinite scroll.

It should be possible with mixitup pagination addon, they have an infinite scroll option in demo files, that you will get when you buy it.

I am not sure it is possible to combine mixitup with another infinite scroll plugin

I’m trying Mixitup for filtering and paginating collections with more than 100 items.

I have more than 5k movie and series titles to filter and sort. Is it possible to do this with Webflow and Mixitup? I begin to think that’s a bit difficult with nocode.

I followed your tutorial but it doesn’t work for me.

Could you have a look at my public link please?

@sylvainn

Hey there!

We build an easier to implement solution for more complex filtering options and deliver support if needed, No Code Flow. Every searchable item is a Webflow CMS item. Every visual aspect (including states) can be modified in the Webflow designer. We build it as a cloneable component with a little video tutorial to implement it – should take you around 10-15 minutes to get started.

:sparkles: A demo can be seen here → https://ncf-filter-styled.webflow.io/
