Dropdown menu label disappears when menu is open

Hey again,

So I’m having trouble using the drop-down component and moving the dropdown list below the drop-down label so that the label still shows when the menu is open. So I added a top margin to the dropdown list to push it down but then the label for the dropdown disappears?

So the first image is the label for the dropdown which I want to be persistent even when the menu opens. The second image show what it looks like now when I open the menu?

Any help is appreciated.
