For some reason, the icons at the bottom of my footer have suddenly disappeared. I have no idea why, since I didn’t touch them and suddenly they’re gone. After inspecting them, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong.
Now here’s the weirdest part. If I change their name from “social icon” to something else they suddenly show up just fine. Yet there are no other elements on my site sharing the same name. I’m tempted to report this as a bug, but first I wanted to hear if there are anyone who knows what’s happening.
I’ve had it happen only a few times. Clean the browser cache - from all time. Then restart and run a completely new session and test it.
Also, if you leave the Designer open, while logged into your site, then go away for a long time. That seems to cause me the most problems. I try to make it a habit to log out completely if I’m going out for a while.
