"Disable swipe gestures" apparently not working in Slider

Hi, All,

I have created a rather simple Slider with about 20 images that I want to continually rotate without any interaction whatsoever from the viewer. The images are strictly for decorative display purposes.

In the Slider settings, I have checked “Disable swipe gestures”, “auto-play slides”, and “Hide arrows at each end”. I have set “Stop after” to “0”. I have hidden “Left Arrow”, “Right Arrow” and “Slide Nav”. If it is any help, the Slider is in a “Quick Stack” “Cell”.

PROBLEM: When the webpage opens, the Slider works as desired - the images go round and round - UNLESS: 1) I click on or hover over an image on my desktop; or 2) touch/swipe the image on my mobile phone. In these cases, the auto-play of images immediately stops and cannot be restarted.

I had assumed that checking “Disable swipe gestures” would have eliminated viewer interaction, but that is apparently not the case.

Any suggestions as to how I can keep trigger-happy viewers from interfering with my auto-playing slider?

Thanks!

– Bill

Hi did you have any luck solving this? Thanks

No, I haven’t been able to solve it and nobody suggested a solution. So, I was going to ask Webflow directly. Seems like bug to me. Do have any ideas?
