Designer not showing what the site really looks like?

Hi,

I am becoming a little frustrated because the designer never seems to show what my website actually looks like. This makes it really hard to properly edit the site. I find myself having to use an iPad, and several different phones, publishing the site just so I can make sure I am seeing the right stuff.

Also, for some reason, it seems that I have these spaces appearing for no apparent reason, all over the place (I didn’t change anything, but suddenly there is a big space. Now I am wasting a bunch of time trying to remove it, please see screenshot).

This is what I see on the designer when I preview what the phone view should look like:

This is what I actually see on my phone:

As you can see, the two are VERY different

So I guess my real issue is, how do I get rid of this weird space… and why is it happening?
