Designer Interface is having issues

Are there any general tips to follow when the Designer interface starts to have problems? Random lockups requiring a browser refresh, clicking on a chevron to drop down a DIV’s contents simply closes the DIV one level up, and I generally have to click ‘Expand All’ just to be able to see inside of DIV’s. Double-clicking a Text Box to edit the text just makes a duplicate of that text box, and Ctrl-Z will not undo that - I have to delete the duplicate manually.

Use a supported browser. Chromium builds work best (like Chrome, Edge, Brave) and check status.webflow.com for any open issues.

  1. Refresh the browser to see if the issue is temporary.
  2. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
  3. Disable any browser extensions that may be interfering with the designer.
  4. Test the designer in a different browser to see if the issue is browser-specific.
