CMS page deleted

Hello. A Taproot volunteer for our nonprofit dog rescue deleted a CMS collection (Events page) and then walked away from the project. I have a partial backup of our site in my workspace, which still has the events page. I tried copying and pasting from the backup into the active site and also tried importing/exporting. No matter what I do, my Events page says “no items found” once I publish. I am unable to roll back to a previous version for various reasons. Can anyone please help me fix the Events page? Thank you so much!

If you don’t use the roll back feature then you would need to recreate the Collection and the template. Bindings don’t come over on copy/paste.

I recreated the template and copied and pasted the old page layout (titled “Events,” and started a new CMS collection on a new page called “Events new.”. However the new CMS collection is still bound to the original Events collection. I can’t link anything to the new page (padlock icon next to Events.

@kssmcivor - When you create a new collection, a new template bound to it is also created. You would need to rebuild the old layout in that new collection template.
