Changing the navbar default background in webflow

I saw a thread posted in April about this but the answer there does not seem to work:

Nav bar transparent background

Hi, I’m trying to do something that seems obvious, but it’s proving an issue. I want my nav bar to appear under the logo, but want it to have a transparent background. It seems to add a light grey background. Site is mubins-radical-site What am I doing wrong? Help please! Kind regards Mubin

I have added a new class and there is no background color in the background section. Anyway, I choose background solid color and change the opacity to 0 for transparent and the original light grey background of the default navbar shows through the transparency. What is the work around for this?
