Is there no way to change a simple background color of a component in webflow ? It is difficult to comprehend why it is so hard to implement this type of feature looking at all the props that can be added ?

@anthonysalamin - Not impossible. You could accomplish this with a text field’s value which was used as the conditional for some custom code which adds some style attributes to the element or even a class.
While I know Webflow has the “do whatever you want without code” mantra, even they use custom code it all over webflow.com since that is how you get around the limitations of the product.
