Change color while hovering over CMS Collection List Wrapper

I would like to change the color of the CMS Collection List Wrapper while my mouse hovers over the wrapper. At the moment, I am getting the color from the CMS from the Dynamic Style Settings (Get BG Color from Projects)

To create this hover effect, I select hover, and I try to change the color but it is not getting updated. Is it because the color is being taken from the CMS?

How do I make the relevant hover animation from black background to the relevant color when hovered over?

hi @Shreyas_Prakash you can’t simply overwrite value from CMS with only hover state. You need different approach to achieve this effect and here is short video “how to” by using only WF functionality but you can do it also with vanilla JS if you want.
