Hi Alex,
The canonical URL settings in Webflow work on two levels: global and page-specific. The global canonical tag URL serves as the base URL that automatically combines with each page’s unique slug. For individual static pages, you can set a custom canonical URL by following these steps:
- Navigate to the Pages panel
- Hover over the page name
- Click the Page settings cog icon
- Open SEO settings
- Enter the full canonical URL in the “Page canonical URL” field
When setting canonical tags, always use full, absolute URLs that start with https://.
Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.
