I was wondering if the bug of having a predifined webflow animation set to work only on certain devices was solved.
Let me explain, if you on a desktop for example use a “grow” animation when “scrolled into view”, the object having the animation will reveals itself as expected… now if you deside to set that animation not to trigger on mobile devices, well the object remains hidden as the initial state of that kind of webflow animation is a hidden state… wouldn’t it be better if webflow display the original initial state of the object before the animation which means visible ?
We still don’t have a clear time frame on when this will be resolved. That said, we had a couple other updates we needed to make before we could reasonably work on this. Those have been taken care of now, though, so we should be able to get this updated soon.
I’ll be sure to post back here when I have new info for ya. Thanks for your patience!
I know it’s been quite some time since you reported this issue around mobile display settings for interactions, but I have good news!
Our team was able to resolve this issue and initial states for interactions will now behave as expected. Going forward, you will be able to define IX2 initial styles that can be enabled or disabled based on which media query breakpoints are selected.
