Breakpoint confusion

I am so utterly confused by breakpoint :( Can someone please help to explain.

I started my site and was happily going between desktop and my new 1920 breakpoint that I need for a touchscreen - this seemed fine for a while. Suddenly, when I went back to desktop view everything just looked crazy - all over the place, and the styles itself had changed, so the outlines on my buttons for instance. Is there a way to reset i.e. desktop and have it take on the styles of the 1920 as a base? / any idea why this has happened?

Weird.
I would recommend checking the classes and style inheritances on your desktop view. If things are looking better on the 1920px breakpoint, then bring those styles on the desktop view (the default one). Then reset those properties on the 1920px breakpoint (to only keep what’s really bringing a change).
