Background video scaling outside of parent div (control bar is outside of div, can't be seen)

Hi there,

I’m creating an online course and have come across an issue where background videos are scaling beyond the parent div making the control bar inaccessible at certain window sizes (cropping at full screen, is visible when the window width is reduced).

I’ve tried adding 100% height to every div involved but it still happens regardless. Any advice on how to fix this issue? Images below show the issue:

Background videos don’t have controls like that, and are meant to scale & crop.

I think you’re using Vidzflow for video hosting? I’d check with them to see what they recommend.
