Background glitch on first load when published

Hi,

I have a problem with the background of my hero section not loading fully on first load when published. However, it looks the way it should after refreshing the page once.

For more info, the hero section has vanta.js background animation added to it and an svg of a diagonal cut off in absolute position for the bottom part of the section. When I first load the published page, the vanta.js background cuts off around 100vh. When I refresh, it stretches past 100vh as it should and shows the diagonal cutoff into the next section properly.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

EDIT: I decided to remove Vanta.js for a different animated gradient option that resolved the issue.
