Is there a way to have a vimeo video auto play using the video widget, and not using an embed code?
Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment with the native video widget, as each video provider uses a different method for autoplay.
This might require some javascripting, but it is doable. Please take a moment to read the Vimeo Api for Javascript implementation here: Vimeo. The Universal Embed Code is far enough for implementation of such features :)
