I haven’t had this problem before until the last few days… when I upload images to the asset manager… they aren’t all appearing at the top of my list when sorting “newest first”. This makes an already difficult asset manager that I can’t categorize ever MORE difficult to add images to a page As I’ve been troubleshooting it… the only way I’ve been able to show the list correctly is to access the assets list by double clicking on an image and then clicking the replace button (rather than clicking the traditional assets button in the side bar).
Is this a bug? and if so, is a fix on the horizon? Or better yet… Can we pretty pretty please have the ability to load folder into the Assets Panel???
Hold up. So it looks like the problem is mostly when you have “all assets” checked in the assets manager when I have a mix of PNG and jpg files in the asset panel… If select “images” from the dropdown menu it seems to show me the “newest first” that I’ve uploaded… Still… this feels like a bug to me. I would love any thoughts from the webflow team about this…
It not only doesn’t sort them properly, it uploads them erratically as well. If you have a panel full of existing images, then upload a group of (let’s say 4) images, it loads 2 or 3 to the top, and one randomly placed halfway down the image panel, very bizarre.
Interesting to hear if you switch to the image only view it sorts correctly, could be a big help whilst waiting for a fix.
