Ajax page-transition help

Hello everyone,

I am trying to recreate the page transition seen on Portfolio - Ralev.com - Design & Web Development

The one where when you click the image it goes to full screen and switches to another page with the same full-screen image as a header, to be precise.

Any help and tips on that will be appreciated as I still haven’t started recreating it.

I have a little update, as this is apparently called an Ajax page transition. Unfortunately, no information on this exact one anywhere.
