AI Assistant to create section layouts in pages?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to figure out how the AI Assistant can help with adding section layouts to a page. I am referring to this page, which states, " To access the AI Assistant, drag a section from the Add panel onto the canvas. Then, click the “AI Assistant” icon in the top right corner of the right panel."

But where is this icon in the top right corner of the right panel? The page does not provide visuals or clear instructions.

I know where the learning assistant is, but that has nothing to do with layout.

I couldn’t find much on YouTube. Does anyone have any information about whether this is possible? I have a page already designed, can use AI to create different layouts in different sections?

Hi, Kim.

Your read-only link doesn’t seem to work. But I wonder if maybe you are trying to use the Assistant on an existing website. From the Help article you share above, you can read that the AI Assistant is available:

to a small number of free templates and sites created with Webflow’s AI site builder

Which, honestly is very disappointing, as then the following statement is incorrect:

The AI Assistant understands the context of your site, its styles and content, and will automatically tailor new sections to match.

I’d say the entire thing was a nice demo from them last year, but it’s still a big beta, and you might have better result trying Relume or other builders.
