When adding a gradient over the background image, I lose control over the image placement preferences, and, the gradient never even appears anyway. Help??

Nevermind. I see that Iām pulling the image from a dynamic blog post. Apparently it overrides all gradients and forms of fine tuning controls 
Does anyone know of a way to at least center the image? If I manually place the image there, through the background settings: it replaces my home screen hero image with that image as well.
Give it a different class or combo name.
