Accordion Closes but has a momentary glitch back open again

Hey all,

I’ve looked through numerous other posts on accordion interactions but can’t figure out this little buggy behavior.

Our FAQ accordion opens nice and smoothly and closes fine, EXCEPT that for a split second after closing it flashes open again. It hasn’t been a priority to fix, but we’re doing detailed cleanups now and I’d really like to understand why it’s happening. Can someone take a look and offer a suggestion?

Definitely some bugginess!
Seems the issue is due to your trigger being the entire container. Assign “FAQ Card Question Container” as your trigger instead.

It worked for me after making this change, however, it did not work initially by simply switching the trigger element. I had to then rebuild by using the “change target” assignment on each element… even though I was changing the target to the same elements.
