Ability to upload JS and CSS files?

As Webflow has a limit of 50,000 characters in the site’s Custom Code: Footer Code settings, why do we not have the ability to be able to upload custom JS and CSS files? (Especially if we’re going to host the website with Webflow). Otherwise can’t this restriction be lifted?

I’m building custom calculators and apps for a new website and I have run out of character space to add more.

you can use a cdn to host external code, or you can upload your code as a txt file, I hope this helps.
