Yearly recurring article - update original or create new one?

Hey everyone!

I have created a site that lists future events (like game releases, new movies) and also some events that return every year (like Halloween).

Is it better to create a new “Halloween” post every year with basically the same information in the article or should I just update/refresh the old article from an SEO perscetive?

I recommend reusing an old post without changing the url (link). You can of course change the content of the message.

Because the url is already (or was) indexed, the current message will index much faster and better
