Word Limiter Possible?

I am setting up some News cards on my home page and wanted to display a snippet of the article. Maybe like the first 100 words. Any way to do this?

There is a native way to limit words.

A second field for the caption is probably only way I guess. thx

I think having a short desc field is the best way.

You can also limit the number of lines that are shown. I have used that method for many of my projects. LMK if this is something you would be interested in as well?
