I need to embed 6-7 gifs of around 10 mb each on the home page, will this slow the website/home page down considerably? I can’t use mp4s because then I’d have to hide the play button and timeline, which I’ve been told will take good amount of custom coding.
70MB is an insane load for a single web page. Yes, this will most definitely slow down the page considerably.
