Wifi dropping, caused by Webflow?

I’ve been having a recurring issue where I lose wifi entirely while working in the Webflow designer. As in something goes haywire on my computer and I can’t connect to wifi at all for a while without restarting the computer or going through the troubleshooting process and waiting for it to resolve.

This seems to only happen while working in the Webflow designer. I’ve reinstalled Windows and the wifi driver and it didn’t help. I’ve experienced this both on Chrome and Edge browsers.

I’m trying to troubleshoot if this is somehow being caused by Webflow, or if it’s just coincidental that it happens while I’m in Webflow, and I have a problem with my wifi card or driver.

I wouldn’t think a browser could cause wifi to crash entirely, but having it constantly happen while in Webflow makes me want to rule out this issue before I do something more drastic like trying to get a new computer (it’s a Lenovo Windows 11 laptop less than 1 year old).

Any help or feedback is greatly appreciated!

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Hi Ed! That’s very unusual and it’s unlikely that Webflow is causing the issue. Windows Event Viewer might give you clues about what happens at the time of the disconnection. Look for warnings or errors that coincide with your Wi-Fi dropping.

Thank you, I’ll dig a bit more and see if the event viewer reveals anything. Likely it’s some issue on my end, but it seems to coincide with using the webflow editor. So either Webflow is triggering it, or it’s just a coincidence.
