Why I can't see the blur effect

Why I can’t see the blur effect of the image(class: selected images effect) when i put the image behind the collection item.
But i can see the blur effect of the image when i put it on top of the collection item???

Select your Project details div > set position to relative > make z-index to be 1

Hey, I want to add some short overview of this problem, It could be easy for you to analyze main issue. It is possible that the collection item is blocking the blur effect of the image when the image is placed behind it. The selected images effect that you mentioned may be a CSS property that applies a blur filter to the image, and the collection item may be obscuring the image from view.

When you place the image on top of the collection item, the blur effect may be visible because the collection item is no longer blocking it. If you need more help according feel free to message me with mentioned my name.

Hey guys!

I don’t seem to have fully understood the problem yet. What exactly should it look like in the end?
Should the blurred image act as a kind of shadow behind the whole item (collection item)? Or should the image only continue in the left part as a blurred version?
