I hope this is the right thread to post this. My main CTA on my site “Get Started Now” is supposed to go to the respective app and play store. However, when we click on the CTA, it seems to hang there for a bit and we need to repeat the click on the CTA to get to the app or play store. If we just click one, it will continue to load for a long time until eventually getting there.
I have tested on multiple devices with different internet connections (wifi on/off), etc but issue seems to be consistent with all devices or connection.
When I selected that button, and checked “open in new tab,” it seemed to help with the speed.
Also, what might be happening is that the linked url/destination is incorrect. IE: The link you entered is (Tavour on the App Store) and the final destination link is (Tavour on the App Store).
Since the browser is searching for the correct destination, perhaps it is slowing the load time.
Opening a new tab seemed to work very good. Regarding the URL, I will double check with that. The idea is to use Adjust (our MMP partner) to redirect to either app store or play store depending on what device the user is using.
For some reason, it could just be that redirection process that is taking time but for some reason I did notice the new tab method working a little better.
