When Interactions 1 is better than Interactions 2

Interactions 2 is very clever; lots of advantages over 1.0, but sometimes it’s a PITA

  • With 1.0 it was easy to apply an interaction to any element, including a symbol, 2.0 doesn’t allow that.
  • With 1.0, you could see all the interactions listed so you could easily apply the appropriate one to an element. With 2.0 they are invisible, so you have to hunt for them.
  • 1.0 has a dead simple interface, 2.0 is unduly complicated. (Classes, elements, siblings, children…)

Please don’t remove legacy interactions before improving the 2.0 interface.
