What to do with unused CMS collection template pages?

Ok, I understand that unused collection item template pages are going to be ‘out there’ and that my best bet is to prevent crawling by editing robots.txt.

My question is more about what to do with those pages:
Should I leave these pages totally blank or would it be worthwhile to throw in my nav bar and footer so that an errant user can find their way again?

I can’t conceive of a way for them to “find” the page if it has no content and is not linked to directly. In that case I don’t worry about them. Google is not going to index blank pages anyway.

Maybe I’m over-estimating people’s ability to find a blank page and declare the site ‘broken’. Thanks for the input - I will leave them blank as I have better things to do.
