What is you favorite solution for multi slider powered by CMS

Hello,

I built a personnal solution for the things that everybody does this days : multicolumn slider powered by CMS collection. I know that tere is a finsweet solution for slider powered by CMS but couldn’t find a reliable solution.

My solution is Ok but I was wondering if a third party as built something you use and that is safe and solid…

I think this will help a lot of people here as it a very popular stuff for my clients, and I think, for a lot of people.

Thanks for you responses

Hello @Romuald_Jay, I think most people that want to build a CMS powered slider use either SwiperJS or SplideJS. Those two solutions are very easy to integrate with Webflow as long as your CMS items have a class it should work with either Swiper or Splide, plus you can find tons of examples on the Made in Webflow page or in Codepen. I hope this helps!

The slider needs to be completely reworked. Honestly my clients cannot believe I can’t provide this simple feature to them. It’s in the top 3 requested suggestions on the webflow wishlist page. I work with clients who have large video collections that want a netflix type experience with click and drag slider functionality and the ability to continualy add new videos to sliders. Totally bugs me they have not made a native slider with some more advance functionality.

To create a multi-column slider powered by a CMS collection, consider custom development for full control, no-code/low-code platforms for faster development, or third-party plugins/libraries for pre-built solutions. Ensure seamless CMS integration, responsive design, performance optimization, accessibility, and a user-friendly experience.

I am happy to meet someone with the same kind of experience than, I don’t feel alone.

I have try both of them and I wasn’t very happy with their behaviour on mobile and found them a bit stiff. And of course, people always want an option that doesn’t exist.

witch one do you prefer ?

Hi Fiza,

it incredible you response look like a generic AI text. Can you list the 10 best plugin for Webflow ?

Hey @Romuald_Jay, to me personally SwiperJS works better, specially because of Swiper Studio, where you can simply copy paste the code into Webflow. I think you can modify enough for mobile using Swiper, as best as the design will dictate, in most cases. Finsweet is coming up with a new Slider component that is based on Swiper, and I think it is responsive out of the box, you might want to check it out, I think it is on their components app.

I didn’t know about this studio solution, it does look pretty good. I’ll be testing it on a future project and the one time 99 $ doesn’t seem too much to me.

And I will wiat for the finsweet solution too. As I understand that it’s not out yet…

Thanks
