What cover background image sizes should I use for desktop, tablet, mob etc

I want to resize cover background image for each device type. Can anyone advise me what width’s I should create the image at please?

It’s difficult to answer but the breakpoints are roughtly 992, 768, 600 and 320. If your bg is full bleed (not a Container but a section) you can make the desktop image 1200 or 1920.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it’s a section. What should I specify for mobile portrait please? 500?

Also any eta on when background images will be auto resized for device types please?
