WF Car Booking Website

Hello,

Our current front-end uses JET Transfers 5 (preview link). We are interested in replicating the booking functionality found on the website https://britishcartransfer.co.uk/, and we are seeking backend guidance and expertise to achieve this on our platform, specifically using WF (Webflow) with custom backend solutions.

Key functionality that we aim to replicate includes:

  1. Selecting Pick-Up Point (Point A).
  2. Selecting Drop-Off Point (Point B).
  3. Calculating the fare based on either:
  • Distance in miles multiplied by the rate per mile. OR
  • Journey time multiplied by the per-hour rate.
  1. Choosing a vehicle from a selection of three options, each with a different pricing multiple based on its class (executive, luxury, mpv).
  2. Generating and displaying the total price based on the chosen options.
  3. Inputting journey metadata.

Our goal is to provide this information in British Pounds (£ GBP), allowing users to proceed with booking and payment, similar to the example provided by OTS (Airport Taxis UK) mentioned above.

We are looking for expert assistance to implement these features effectively and seamlessly on our platform. Your insights and expertise in developing the backend functionality are greatly appreciated.

Please provide guidance on how we can achieve this functionality and make it available to our users in an efficient and user-friendly manner. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Arthur

Hi @Arthur_shackman.
Josh with Foxy here. Not sure you’ll be able to get what you’re after with Webflow Ecommerce. That said, face value, what you’re after should be possible with our seamless Webflow integration: https://foxy.io/webflow

  • Manage products with Webflow CMS
  • Allow for different pick up options (with variable pricing based on different criteria)
  • Google Maps integration for distance based rates
  • Products/cars can have different options that affect final price
  • Collect and pass any data to Foxy. Access data via our admin, webhooks, API, Zapier, Make, etc.

Here to help if you have any questions or need help getting started: hello@foxy.io

Thanks,
Josh
