I am currently having problems integrating an intro video to my website that clears with a 24hr cookie. I feel the way I’m doing it is brute force and I feel I could do much better with a little advice. Right now I have it so the intro video plays as a background video, and then all site assets get unhidden after 8s (when It’s over) I recognize this as a flaw because if a customer has a slower connection, the assets will load in before the video has ended. I’m also facing the problem of the video not even playing on low-power mode iOS devices, or in-app browsers such as Instagram or Twitter.
