Webflow University CSS Grid lesson accurate?

Hi All,

I’m going through the Webflow Uni, specifically the CSS Grid lesson. I literally copy everything the video tells me to do, and it doesn’t seem to work.

  1. Apply CSS grid in section or convert section to CSS grid.
  2. Make height of grid required VH or pixels.
  3. Drag image into grid and make 100% width and height, and change the fit to ‘cover’.

In the lesson, the image fills the first container of the CSS grid, leaving all remaining 1fr cells visible…

In practice, my image fills the cell and squashes the remaining column into nothing.

What am I doing wrong??

Any help would be much appreciated.
