Webflow Ecommerce NOT VARIATIONS but add ons

Hi there,

I’m helping a company migrate their meal order website to Webflow. However, I’m facing two issues.

  1. Some menu items have multiple add-ons that increase the price or are completely customizable. I’m not sure if Webflow has a native function to handle this. Do we need to use a 3rd party integration or is there a workaround within Webflow’s CMS?
  2. We need to send the order information to the back-end via API call when an order is placed. Can we do this with Webflow?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide!

Best regards, Daniel

Hi Josh.

I already looked at foxy. I can’t find anything about the issues I’m facing. Will I be able to create products with multiple options and add-ons? (For example make your own sandwitch from subway)

@Daniel_SundownDesign Most definitely. We’re not limited by Webflow Ecommerce limitations. I’ll message you some live examples.

Josh

you can create product options, such as size or color and product varients, such as a burger with or without cheese, directly within the CMS.

Problem is that it’s more complex than that. Some options have to be chosen, some cost extra money, some dont. So all together it’s hard to make that work with webflow. Especially due to price increments.
