Hi, I’m struggling to get the date sort function to work on my custom filter system.

I’m following the Finsweet CMS Sort, and I’ve followed the guide for adding the custom attributes, but this hasn’t worked (the way I’ve been doing it anyway).

I’ve added the following to the date sort button:

Then I added it to the date itself, but I’ll hide this as the client wishes to have the time showcased.

Hi there,

Here’s how to sort Collection lists by date and time in Webflow:

  1. Select your Collection list
  2. Open the Settings panel (D)
  3. Under Collection List Settings, add a Sort order
  4. Select your date & time field from the first dropdown
  5. Choose either “oldest to newest” or “newest to oldest” in the second dropdown
  6. Click Save to apply the changes

For additional sorting functionality beyond Webflow’s native options, you can explore the Finsweet CMS Sort attribute. While this is a third-party solution, you can find documentation and implementation guides on Finsweet’s official website.

This doesn’t seem to work; I’m assuming this is due to the fact that I am using the Finsweet CMS sort.
