Wanted to wrap a text span with a link to an embedded anchor tag, is that possible

I know the better way would to just create a section and have the page jump/scroll to that, but the whole page is wrapped up in one container, so i just wanted to embed some anchor code and wrap some text with a link that would jump to that. Am I out of my mind?

Thanks Sam, i was just hoping to find a way to side step doing that, since there was quite a bit of text and other elements in the paragraph and container that I didn’t feel like wrestling with, I’ve decided against the scroll jump until a later date. thanks for replying
