Video upload leading to compression issues

I’m trying to use a video in a hero banner, to replace a still image. After uploading the video (of a slowly moving gradient), the Webflow compression makes the video unusable.

When I preview under edge it looks fine.

Oh… that’s interesting. Viewing on Chrome seems to work as well. It’s odd that it is Safari that’s causing the issue!

Is this a known issue?
