Hello, I am taking over a WF project that has a direct Google Analytics integration. The project has very high Direct traffic showing in traffic sources as shown below (past 7 days):
Direct 2,055
Organic Search 1,004
Paid Search 449
Referral 284
The above is also for NEW SESSIONS (not returning which increases Direct). My GA view settings are set to exclude known spider/bot traffic. Site is https.
Can anyone think of a reason why the majority of traffic is showing as “Direct” for this project?
