Using a custom cursor with luxy.js and cursor disappears on scroll

Hello,

I was looking to add smooth scrolling to my website and chose luxy.js for this. However, after adding luxy.js, my custom cursor isn’t working properly.

It functions as it is supposed to until the page scrolls down at which point the custom cursor does not scroll with it and disappears once the page has scrolled down enough.

I tried to find similar topics on this problem but couldn’t find anything hence creating this topic.

Any help or alternative to luxy.js would be greatly appreciated.

The solution was to simply use a different library, Lenis.js to be precise.
