URGENT: Figma to Webflow Plugin Deleted Entire Existing Site — Has This Happened to Anyone?

Hi everyone,
I’m posting here because we are facing a critical and unexpected issue with the Figma to Webflow plugin.

Our designer was using the plugin to import assets into an existing Webflow site. He had already imported assets for two pages. The next day, when trying to import the rest, something catastrophic happened:

  • The entire Webflow site disappeared from our dashboard (not in Archive, not in any Workspace)

  • The Figma file used for the export also vanished — completely gone from our Figma account

  • All plugin-related assets in both platforms simply disappeared

We’ve opened a support request (#1033578) but haven’t received any update yet, and this is severely blocking our work.

Has anyone ever experienced the Figma to Webflow plugin deleting BOTH the Webflow site and the Figma file?
Is there any known issue, conflict, or bug that could cause this?
And is there any chance of project recovery on either platform?

Any help, insight, or similar experiences would be extremely valuable right now.

Webflow’s API does not have a DELETE site endpoint, so AFAIK it’s impossible for any plugin to delete your site. Only a human can do that.

It seems much more likely that your site is fine, and that something interfered with the loading and listing of your sites, like the Cloudflare outage today, or something like a browser extension.
