Update PHP version?

Hi, my client has received an email saying:-

We’re getting in touch to let you know that as part of our commitment to providing a reliable and trusted service, we’re retiring some legacy PHP versions throughout July 2022 .

End of Life (EOL) versions are no longer supported for security updates, potentially making your shared hosting vulnerable. Updating to the later PHP versions can also improve performance and stability in some applications.

To prepare for this, we are getting ready to retire the following PHP versions:

  • 5.3, 5.4, 5.5
  • 7.0, 7.1, 7.2

Meaning you will need to update your PHP version to either ‘5.6’ or ‘7.3’ or above.

I am assuming as I host with WF we already use a higher version of php
