I’ve noticed a strange issue. My website is already live, and while making some changes to variable colors and size values, I found that these updates are appearing on my main domain even though I only published the changes on my Webflow subdomain. I haven’t published anything on the main domain, yet the variable changes are still being reflected there.

I’ve never encountered that, and tbh it seems very unlikely because of the way publishing and CSS generation works.
Is it possible you published from your dashboard and from within the designer? Because the settings don’t sync and it will auto-select production by default.
You can check the last published date for your production site by viewing source, you’ll see a comment with the last published timestamp at the top.
You can also see under the general tab on your site dashboard at the bottom, the Site activity log shows publishing events.
If you can recreate it though, definitely video and message support.
