Unable to create CMS blog category page

Hi everyone,

I’ve set up a Categories Collection in my CMS blog on Webflow and added a field named “Award” (Webflow created the slug automatically). However, when I click on the Award category link on the blog page, it opens a blank/empty page.

Has anyone experienced this before or know how to fix it?
Would really appreciate your help!

Thanks in advance! :folded_hands:

Hi there,

If your Collection pages aren’t showing up on your live site, you’ll need to check the publish settings for your Collection template pages. Here’s how to fix this:

  1. Go to the Pages panel
  2. Find and hover over the Collection template page
  3. Click the settings “cog” icon
  4. Navigate to Publish settings
  5. Switch the toggle to “on”

This will ensure your Collection’s template pages are published and accessible on your live site.

Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.

Are you referring to this Award button?
It doesn’t appear to be linked to anything.

I’m referring to the Award category in this blog. I’ve created several blogs under the Award category. When I click on “Award” in any blog post, it should open a new page displaying all blogs related to the Award category. However, it’s not working right now.

You need to link the category template field to the current category, and on your category template you will need to set up a filter for the blog collection (showing posts) to be set to the current category.

Yeah, we tried with this category template, same as what you’re getting. But we need to add Link block or Div block to CMS blogs, those are not linking.
Can you explain a bit more about the complete process to get Award category blogs on that page?
