Trying to create an accordion hamburger menu but on click the menu prematurely goes away. HELP

Ive been looking into this for hours. Looking for a way to disable the menu from automatically closing on click… I must be searching for the wrong info because I’m having trouble. Any help on making the hamburger menu STICK would be great.

Sure, this is the sort of thing I’m talking about, as soon as you expand a menu the hamburger menu will close, and I don’t see how to change that automatic reaction:

Oh all good, I deleted it. I found a template that does it and I’m going to copy it and reverse engineer the thing.
