Trouble with Modal Interaction not working with class targeting

Hi there,

I have a problem with interactions and class targeting: I created an interaction for a button “Termin vereinbaren” (this is the trigger) for a popup modal and used class targeting, because I do want to use the popup modal and the button on multiple pages. It worked. So far so good.

BUT: As I copied the popup modal anf the button to another page, it doesn’t work on the other page. On the original page it still worked. And now THE REALLY STRANGE issue: I moved the button on the original page to another position. Now it even do not work on the original page.

Please help me! :cold_sweat: The site should go live next week! SO MANY MANY THANKS!

Hi @MHGRAFIKDESIGN, welcome to the community!

I took a look at your interaction and everything looks to be configured correctly.

Can you please try the following steps:

  1. Add the interaction on the button again without assigning the class
  2. Delete the previously added interaction on the button which is targeting the class
  3. Set the new interaction to target all buttons with that class
  4. Test for functionality
