Trouble with jQuery 2.2.0 in China and need to remove from Head of site

I need help to remove this line of code from my site, because googleapis.com could not access in China

script type=“text/javascript” src=“https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.2.0/jquery.min.js”></script

currently I use the custom code in the head

script type=‘text/javascript’ src=‘http://ajax.useso.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js?ver=3.4.2’></script

and still need to remove the googleapi.com related code.

can i have the other way to let the googleapis related code not work?

Hi @Looio, thanks for your post. I wish I had an easier answer for you, but at the moment, it is not possible to remove the jQuery script from a site hosted in Webflow.

I think the solutions will be limited, and may be the best solution would be to export the site and host on a CDN that works in China.

I’m working on a site with CMS, it seems like that it couldn’t export out.

Hi, ok I see. Well, have you been using the CMS features in the site design? At the moment the CMS dynamic content cannot be exported. The static pages can be exported as long as the CMS features have been removed.

If you would like some help with that, please send an email with the site details to support@webflow.com, and I am happy to help you to remove the CMS features.

Thanks in advance.

What I’m really need is the CMS features, it seems that could not able to export.

Hi @Looio, well, at the moment it is not possible to export the cms features, I am sorry about that. At the moment, I do not have an alternative solution, I continue to check on this if I can find out further information.

@cyberdave The obvious solution would be for Webflow to host the jQuery library.

@cyberdave seriously you have no fix for this yet? Our Chinese clients are complaining and you just need to configure a setting to download jquery from other source that is accessible in China… How hard can that be?
