Trouble with custom domain DNS and SSL

Hi!

I have created a soccer club website for one of my clients. It’s almost ready but the custom domain issue is holding up the launch.

I sent the instructions from webflow help site to my client to update the DNS settings. She says she updated everything required but the site is redirecting from ftlfc.com to www.www.ftlfc.com. Here is the screenshot of the DNS settings.

Could someone please see what’s wrong here and help me fix it?

HI @rkoomera, thanks for the post.

I would recommend to do the following:

1. Add one cname record in your DNS records for www.ftlfc.com to point to proxy-ssl.webflow.com
2. Go to the site project hosting tab and set the www.ftlfc.com to be the default domain: http://help.webflow.com/faq/how-to-set-your-sites-default-domain
3. Republish the site, with the www domain selected for publishing: Webflow 101 crash course | Webflow University

After publish, all should be displaying normally. Let me know if I can help to check further

Great @rkoomera, one note, sometimes it takes a few minutes for all changes to propagate, so if you initially see double “www.www”, just give it a few minutes. Let me know when done and if any issue, I will check the public dns.

The last entry here will change from red cross to green or yellow when it’s set up correctly.
