Template is hard to edit

Here is my site Read-Only: LINK

Hey there, so I bought a template and I like it for my purposes,

however there is two things that dont work, the first thing is the way I change text in the CMS tab and then it disappears when the text is edited, it shows up as “ No items found.” then the other issue is that there are features like “radio” that aren’t immediately visable on default as if its a feature not yet implemented.

Is it me or the template that is the issue here?

Hi there,

If you’re seeing “No items found” for your CMS content, this can typically be resolved by checking your Collection page publishing settings. Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Navigate to the Pages panel
  2. Locate and hover over your Collection template page
  3. Click the settings cog icon
  4. Find and enable the Publish settings toggle

If the content is still not displaying, your antivirus software might be blocking it. Try adding webflow.com and *.webflow.com to your antivirus whitelist to resolve this.

Regarding the radio features, please share more details about the specific template features you’re working with so we can provide accurate guidance.

Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.

Hi there, I tried to publish it there and it the “Publish thiis Collection Template page” is enabled and when i made edits to the page from the pages section it only edited the titles in publish so when i went to the CMS to check, it said that there were changes to be published so i pressed publish and it was gone again. All of this is from the live web .io link. So when I view the exact page from the web link (.io/example-page) it is viewable but on the .io/view-pages where the default template showed it fine it is gone when i published the CMS

UPDATE: I figured it out, it was in the Navigator where I could relink each page. The setup was to rename the title in the Navigator rather than to link a url or ID

Possibly both, there’s a fair bit of learning curve but also templates usually need some adjustment to your preferred way of working and project design.

Collection lists show the items you’ve configured them for, depending on filters, etc.

Thank you very much, sir! The video was extremely helpful. I agree that ‘Dynamic to Selected’ should honestly be the default setting. The way the different parts are layered can be difficult to navigate, but your explanation made it much clearer.
